Purpose
Note If you have integrated Sales Billing with SAP Subscription Billing , to provide the required information for accounting processes and revenue recognition, the subscriptions from SAP Subscription Billing are replicated to provider contracts for Sales Billing in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition . This CDS view represents the header data of provider contracts where the contract category ( VTCAT ) is Sales Billing Provider Contract (1). In Sales Billing , the provider contract comprises all legally binding agreements regarding the provision and billing of services entered into by a customer and a company for a specified period of time. This CDS view provides the prerequisites for answering the following business questions: How many provider contracts exist for a business partner? When does the validity of the provider contract end? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab.
