Purpose
This CDS view is designed to provide a structured representation of posting keys within a financial system. It serves as a dimension in analytical scenarios, allowing users to extract and analyze data related to posting keys, which are essential for categorizing financial transactions. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the different posting keys available in the financial system, and what are their attributes? How can posting keys be categorized based on their debit or credit nature? Which posting keys are associated with specific financial account types? Are there posting keys that are specifically related to sales transactions? Which posting keys are used in payment transactions? What are the reversal posting keys for specific transactions? Are there posting keys that are used for special GL transactions? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. Prerequisites
Authorizations The corresponding restriction types must be set to read access. For a list of restriction types please see Authorizations in Analytics for Universal Journal . These restriction types are maintained in the Maintain Business Roles app.

Data Extraction Type This CDS view is enabled for data extraction in full mode as well as in delta mode. Deltas are determined automatically by change data capture.
