Purpose
This CDS view provides access to all posting levels in group reporting which can be used in journal entry items. For example, posting level 00 for entries of reported data of individual consolidation units, 0C for entries to make adjustments to the universal journal, 10 for standardizing entries, and 20 for two-sided elimination entries. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: Which posting levels exist? What are the associated description texts of posting levels, such as filter by language. To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .
